Dr. Bell has conducted leadership-training sessions for approximately 500,000 managers in more than 4,700 organizations from over 85 countries.

Over the years, thousands have enrolled in Dr. Bell’s open programs held in Chapel Hill or sought his services for on-site programs, master classes, and executive retreats. His lastest publication is entitled, The Carolina Way: Leadership Lessons From a Life in Coaching , co-authored with Coach Dean Smith, the most successful coach in college basketball history, and John Kilgo, an award-winning newspaper columnist in North Carolina.

In addition to his books, Dr. Bell has created the Bell Personality Profile and several other assessment tools for individuals and companies to use in determining their strengths and weaknesses.

Dr. Bell earned master’s and doctoral degrees from Yale University. He also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology and business, respectively, from the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating with honors from both universities. In addition to teaching, consulting, and writing, Dr. Bell enjoys time with his family at home in Chapel Hill. He is an avid golfer, fly fisherman, runner, and Western art collector.
