One of America's leading insiders and visionaries on the coming green economy and clean technology opportunity, Michael Moynihan has over two decades of experience as a management consultant, technology strategist and business leader.

Currently Director of the NDN Green project in Washington where he has helped develop many of the policy proposals behind the Obama Administration’s commitment to clean energy, Moynihan served in the Clinton Administration as senior to Secretaries Bob Rubin and Larry Summers where he held the Internet portfolio. There he negotiated e-commerce agreements with the EU, Japan and other countries and oversaw the e-commerce activities of Treasury's 140,000 employees. A successful entrepreneur, he also founded the Internet’s first video sharing community, AlwaysOnTV in 1999. Mr. Moynihan is member of the faculty of New York University and a fellow at Princeton University was a fellow of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and was the Robert C. Seaman’s Fellow in Technology and Public Policy at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of government. He holds degrees from Columbia and Harvard and is currently a PhD candidate at Princeton.

He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, The Coming American Renaissance and other books. His forthcoming book, The End of Freedom is scheduled for publication in 2009. His writing has appeared in Harper's, The New York Times, The Washington Post and other publications.

Moynihan has also worked as a senior Consultant for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), Moynihan where he advised Fortune 500 clients on technology and market trends and authored books on such business and management topics as total quality management (TQM), market trends and managing human resources across borders.

Mr. Moynihan is a frequent guest on television including Fox and Friends and shows on Fox, CNN, CNBC, FN, USA and PBS. He has been a guest on dozens of radio shows and has been profiled in the National Journal, the Denver Post, the Italian weekly Il Sabato, as well as other publications.
